Rio Carnival Photos!It can be difficult to take decent Rio Carnival photos of the Samba School parades in the Sambadrome. The place is enormously crowded, everyone is dancing and partying, most of the reviewing stands are at an angle to the parade floats passing by, and it's just organized mayhem. The Rio de Janeiro Carnival photos below are presented courtesy of RioTur, the official "Empresa de Turismo" of the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. RioTur's photographers are given access in the Sambadrome to take great Rio Carnival pictures of the parades. These Carnival pictures are from the Samba School (Escolas) parades of 2009. We'll add more photos from future Carnaval parades as they become available.
