Now that Brazil is hosting the 2014 World Cup soccer finals and the 2016 Summer Olympics, perhaps Rio de Janeiro webcams will soon be placed at several locations throughout the city. We have recently secured streaming video from one of the only true live video web cameras in Rio de Janeiro. Also, check back both day and night during Carnival (Carnaval) and you will catch images of thousands of people partying and marching in the famous Carnival Blocos parades along Ipanema Beach. Also, visit the site on New Year's Eve (Reveillon) and see part of the crowd of almost 2 million people that celebrate and watch the fireworks on Copacabana Beach!
